Overwatch – Who Is Sombra?

Who is Sombra?

You may recall, I wrote a piece on Overwatch previously. You can find it HERE Blizzard is a fantastic company when it comes to keeping their customers involved. They released another character (Ana) recently and the rumour mill is rife with the addition of “Sombra”. Sombra was first discovered hinted at in very early pre-beta releases. There was a table with three classified manila folders on it reading “SOMBRA [CLASIFICADO],” “SOLDADO: 76 [CLASIFICADO],” and “JACK MORRISON [CLASIFICADO]. Jack Morrision(Soldier 76) was shown before and after he transformed into soldier 76.

Review: No Man’s Sky – Unlimited Adventure or Just Boring?

No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky has been eagerly anticipated for about 4 years now. The game boasted an almost unlimited adventure as you go from planet to planet collecting resources, selling your crafted items and interact with the local wildlife. The games creators boast “you can do ANYTHING you like in the game” and this is almost true. If by doing anything means you can walk around a horrible looking blue and purple planet with no end game in sight, then they are right. You can probably tell by now where I am going with this one. I reviewed this on PC.

Windows 10 – Only free for today so upgrade now!

The title says it all really. Today is your last chance to pick yourself up a copy of Windows 10 for free. From tomorrow the software giant will charge €135 for the home edition and €279 for the pro edition. The question that most users have is can I and perhaps more importantly, should I upgrade and let me get into some reasons as to why I advise you to take the plunge.

Windows 8 was a disaster and 8.1 wasn’t much better and pretty much just tried to bring back the familiarity of the much loved Windows 7. For this reason, most people did not want to upgrade their PC’s & laptops as Windows 7 was stable, relatively quick and probably more importantly, familiar.  The key point that Microsoft seems to forget every now and again is that end users want their machines to be faster, more reliable and safer but this must not come at the cost of having to relearn how to use the machine all over again. This is exactly what happened with Windows 8 and from my experience, this is the reason why most people fear the change to Windows 10.

Let me attempt to put your mind at ease but also let you know that most of you will encounter and issue of some form or another.

In case you haven’t heard, Overwatch is awesome!

It’s hard for me to admit but I was late out of the gate with this one. Overwatch: Blizzard’s latest offering is out on major consoles as well as on PC and let it be said, these guys don’t mess around when it comes to building games that are played for the long term. Too many game manufacturers rely on pushing out a title very year and to me, that feels like a real cop out. It means that the studio doesn’t see you playing this game for 12 months and in reality, if you get a few months out of any online title (Call Of Duty in particular) I would say you are doing well.

Who are Blizzard?
